Kiel University Library has a valuable historical collection, which includes 3,000 manuscripts and 40,000 old prints as well as 72 bequests of important personalities or institutions with connections to the CAU. The union catalogue Kalliope lists bequests, autographs and publishing archives across all institutions. The Coffee Lecture will introduce the database and provide tips for researching the diverse materials it contains (e.g. diaries, letters, personal documents, manuscripts and photos).
