Workshops

We are happy to assist in acquiring or deepening knowledge and skills in handling information in academic work and learning processes. We offer a series of workshops every semester. Our programme is aimed at students, doctoral candidates, university lecturers, scientists and anyone else who is interested.

Programme

Literature Management: In these courses, we show how literature can be efficiently managed and correctly cited using appropriate programs, thereby providing targeted support for academic work.

Writing Workshops: Since academic writing is a central component of university studies, these workshops offer practical support for developing writing skills and successfully mastering typical challenges such as structure, style, and scientific work.

Databases: Here we show you how to use scientific databases in a targeted manner, conduct effective research, and thus significantly improve your information search during your studies.

Library Tour: The interactive tour takes around 90 minutes and presents the University Library playfully as a place of learning and work.

E-learning Offers: Here you will find video tutorials, self-study courses, and tips from Kiel University Library to help you expand your information literacy and academic skills.
