Our Delivery Service at a Glance

The Medical Department of Kiel University Library offers free delivery of copies of medical articles as a service for members of the Faculty of Medicine. In order to use the service, you must be an employee of the CAU Kiel or the UKSH, Campus Kiel. Prior registration is not required. For final confirmation of your order, we only need your name, the clinic/institute and your e-mail address.
In terms of the new German Copyright Act (UrhWissG), from 1 March 2018, the delivery of article copies (i.e. copyrighted works) may only be for non-commercial purposes (university research). You confirm the non-commercial use to us in the online order form by ticking the corresponding box.

Delivery Scope

We provide you with copies of articles from journals and monographs. There is no limit to the number of orders. For copyright reasons, it is not possible to order copies of entire journal issues, books or book chapters. Likewise, for copyright reasons it is also not possible to deliver electronic copies (PDF). The scope of delivery may not exceed 10% of the entire original. The service is free of charge.
