Disabled Access
In all matters related to library use, the employees of the Central Library are there for you with help and advice. In libraries that are difficult to access because of their construction (especially for wheelchair users), practical help can be provided by individual arrangement.
- Disabled access lifts are located in both the middle two aisles between the open-access areas.
- Disabled toilets are located in both the middle two aisles on the ground floor and 1st floor.
- Disabled access carrels. Wheelchair users can get a specially-equipped carrel.
- Extended loan period
On application, CAU students can obtain a double-length loan period (Application form to print out). - Workstation for the blind and visually impaired
On the ground floor, 3rd block, there is now a Braille-assisted workstation available for the blind and visually impaired. The following programmes are on offer: JAWS, ZoomText and Finereader. You can get the key for the room from the service counter.
