AI offers for students and lecturers

The University Library is currently planning and designing new workshops for teaching interdisciplinary AI skills in the introductory phase of studies and the teacher training program. To this end, we are currently identifying the needs of students and teaching staff as part of the AI literacy project.

The project is funded by the state government of Schleswig-Holstein as part of the Digitalization Programme 3.0 with a funding amount of 80,000 euros and is based on the guidelines of the Schleswig-Holstein Digital Strategy.

In order to evaluate the central implementation of AI services and infrastructures at the University Library, experts and interested parties from all faculties are involved. Technical, legal and organizational framework conditions are to be determined and, in the medium term, relevant AI tools for interdisciplinary academic work processes are to be tested.A workflow for future and continuous needs assessments will be developed in a participatory process.

Note: Our project workshops have already been completed, but University staff and scientists can receive a certificate of participation for visiting our workshops and have this credited towards the ‘Digital Competences for Science Certificate’ issued by the Department of Further Education.

We also welcome contact, information and suggestions at any time via email.
